Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease Starts At The Cellular Level
How do you prevent and/or reverse Heart Disease?
That's a real good question and one I sought after for years as my blood work worsened and I became sicker and sicker. As, the prescription started to increase and before I knew it I was on way to many medications, continually gaining weight around the middle and with no improvement to my health. I would hear from my doctor that you need to change your diet and exercise, with no instruction or explanation on what that really meant. Now, most people would look at me and say you look great you should be happy with the way you look. It's not what's on the outside, it's what's happening inside that we can't see that is taking our health. I made what I thought were changes to my diet and I thought I was eating healthy and exercising with a routine I thought would help me but only made me sicker.
To follow are two important quotes that I have heard quoted similarly
from many renowned doctors on how to prevent and even reverse heart
disease, get off prescription medications and take back control of your
health.
“Most adults, especially those entering middle age, are basically sitting ducks when it comes to heart disease,” Dr. Crandall warns. “That’s unfortunate, because heart disease is totally unnecessary. With the proper knowledge, and a few simple steps, it can be prevented, reversed, even cured.” Dr. Crandall, chief of the cardiac transplant program at the world-renowned Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic in Florida, practices on the front lines of modern cardiology.
"You will learn the importance of combining a Healthy Diet that does not spike your blood sugar, a Modest Exercise Program, and Cellular Nutrition." Dr. Ray Strand M.D.
Now, I am inviting you to learn from the best as well. Information that will change your life! Be sure to join me for this annual event to learn from the best for FREE with Dr. Tom Carter and Dr. Brian Dixon on Saturday December 10th speaking event at Northern Illinois University Rockford.
Why do we do these presentations and why are they free?
Because this is information that needs to be delivered to all and we are on a mission to get the word out. There is no reason that here in the United States we are the leading country of heart disease. This is unacceptable. We provide the information you need to make the simple lifestyle changes to prevent and even reverse Heart Disease and over 70 degenerative diseases, with these simple lifestyle changes. And I am here to support you along the way.
With that said I offer you the following three steps to get started today:
You can take back your health from the pharmaceutical companies, fast food chains, and empower yourself to live a healthier, happier life. Email me today to jackiegemstar@yahoo.com to reserve your seat for the live speaking event with Dr. Tom Carter and Dr. Brian Dixon
I truly look foward to working with you on your new healthy journey.
God bless

I
learned from an invite from a friend to a FREE seminar featuring Dr.
Tom Carter, heart surgeon, information I had never heard before!
This
was the jump start I needed on my journey to take back my health. I
learned about cellular nutrition and nutritional deficiencies and I
learned this was the root cause of all my health problems!

- Attend one of our many live free seminars further supporting your efforts to a healthy new lifestyle and learn the following.
- Proper Cellular Nutrition Supplementation (nutritional deficiencies are the leading cause of over 70 degenerative diseases including heart disease.)
- A Healthy Low Glycemic Diet (eating low glycemic may prevents and even reverses insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes, lowers your unhealthy fat intake, and improves your HDL and LDL and reduces inflammation which is a leading factor in heart disease, heart attacks and strokes, and improves your immune system.)
- Moderate Exercise (Our bodies were not created to be sedentary, they were designed to move. Moderate daily exercise improves your immune system, cardiovascular system, rids your body of toxins, and increases your production of key hormones and overall wellbeing.)
- Spiritual Health (Lowers your stress level and stress hormones whether it is from meditation, personal development and devotion, worship and/or prayer or just reading a good book. Resets your mind and spirit and allows deeper appreciation and awareness to the world around you.)

Brain Fog in Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Brain Fog
in Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I, like many of you that suffer from
brain fog either as a symptom of Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue or another
medical condition, are or have been looking for some kind of relief.
Brain Fog Relief
Recently, I was dealing with some
brain fog and had to drive so I decided to take what is called REV 3 Energy
Surge Pack Dietary Supplement from Usana Health Sciences. It really helped my brain fog, so I tried it again on several
occasions and got the same results. I
was like, hmm, what's in this that is helping with brain fog. So, I visited one
of my favorite sites for information at http://chronicfatigue.about.com/od/symptoms/a/brainfog.htm
and read the post about brain fog and learned that this product has several of
the ingredients listed that people have used for this symptom.
Excitement
Building
I
am so excited about this product. I became an independent associate for
Usana because their nutritional supplements improved my health so
incredibly. The ironic thing is I have had
accessibility to this product for a long time but never used the surge packs.
Now, I will use them and carry them with me all the time. This product is not just for brain fog, it’s
for anytime you need an energy boost, i.e. late night homework, keeping up with
the kids, excess work, etc. But, I can tell you this, when I feel the fog
coming on or am dragging my feet I use this product. Please use as directed
and only when needed. I truly believe too
much of anything is probably not a good idea.
Of course this product is not
marketed nor is it intended to treat, cure or prevent any disease. A link to product ingredients is below for
your review.
Let the
Research Begin
I have researched the ingredients on
Consumer Labs (membership required) and a couple other sites and found that some
of the ingredients have indeed been recommended for symptoms of brain fog associated
with chronic fatigue/fibro. I am a firm believer in educating yourself and
taking the necessary steps to improve your own health. Here is what I found on
one of the sites I researched for information on certain ingredients.
Ingredients
Of course, if you are taking
medications or have other health conditions please consult with your physician.
Fortunately, for me I am no longer on any medications. There is a 100%
satisfaction guarantee with Usana, so if you try this and it doesn’t work for you,
return it for a full refund. Here is the
link to the ingredients in the REV 3 Energy Surge Pack Dietary
Supplements. http://shop.usana.com/media/Shop/products/Supplement%20Facts/US/DietEnergy/SupFact-139-US-Rev3Surge14Pk.pdf
If you would like to purchase the Rev 3 Energy Surge Pack
Dietary Supplement you can find it at www.jackiebennett.usana.com click
the shop online tab at the top, click Diet and Energy and you will find the
surge packs towards the bottom. They are
small and easy to slip into your purse, pocket, drawer or glove box in your car
so you can always be prepared.
I truly hope you give this a try. I am so excited to have found this works for
my brain fog. To think that for almost
two years I have had this product rite at my finger tips and never knew what it
could do for me. Go, figure!
God Bless,
Jackie

I want Cookies, Candy, Chips and Cake for the holidays!!
Just a reminder for the holidays: Carbohydrate Addiction & Insulin Resistance
You have hopefully learned all about the dangers of high-glycemic carbohydrates and how addictive they become. Experiencing the freedom you have to choose healthy, delicious foods as you leave these cravings for processed carbohydrates behind is truly a blessing. However, many of you have a false sense of security that you can now eat these foods without any worries of becoming addicted again. Let me warn you, nothing could be further from the truth. There will always be plenty of temptations surrounding us and going back to the old carbohydrate addiction is very easy. Holidays, birthdays, special occasions, vacations, good days, bad days, and the list goes on and on. You need to be continually aware of the fact that eating a few high-glycemic meals or snacks can quickly produce that roller coaster ride that will lead right back to those old cravings and desires.
Guard yourselves and when you do have some foods from the least desirable Food List, make sure that the next meal or snack is healthy and low-glycemic. You need to be free to be able to eat anything you desire; however, it is also important that you also have respect for the dangers that can occur if you let your guard down too frequently.
With the holidays in full swing try to put this little tip into place. When you are tempted by all those high glycemic foods during the holidays make it a practice to seek out the good low glycemic snacks first, such as the relish tray with carrots, celery, broccoli, tomato's, etc. first and eat them before you even consider the other treats laying around tempting you. This will help to curb your appetite so you won't eat to much of what you don't want to eat. Be sure to always have a dinner salad if possible with Olive Oil, Red Wine, Vinegar dressing and lot's of veggies in your salad to fill you up prior to the main course so you won't over eat and/or eat the high glycemic foods.
Now, I am not perfect by any means and I do eat some high glycemic foods from time to time and I do my best to put these practices into place. I can tell you from experience that you can quickly and easily re-enter insulin resistance and the cravings and addictions for high glycemic foods. When you feel the cravings for the high glycemic foods and fast foods that is your signal that you have re-entered insulin resistance and the addictions have returned. Sometimes, we don't even realize this is happening again because we have slowly re-introduced some foods back into our diets. If this is the case be sure to log what you are eating daily so you can see what it is that you have been re-introducing to your diet that is spiking your insulin and causing the cravings all over again. This will allow you to take back control and keep your freedom to choose the healthier foods to eat.
I am going to post some more recipes that are low glycemic that you can prepare for the holidays and bring them with you for the host to serve. This will enable you, your family and friends to enjoy a low glycemic meal or snack as well.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE

Where exactly does the word diet come from anyway?
Daily Bites by Jackie Bennett info provided by “create the body your
soul desires” by Dr. Karen Wolfe, Deborah Kern page 4,5 & 60
The word “diet” comes from the Greek root word “diaita”, which means “to live one’s life,” and from the Latin root word, “diaeta,” meaning a “manner of living”.
Most people, however, start a diet as an external solution for quick weight-loss and often feel punished and deprived during the process. The rewards are few and the behavioral changes are not permanent. Sadly, many dieters will regain the weight they lost while dieting. That’s why there are so many diet books on the market!
Here is what the word DIETS represent to the authors of this book:
The Conscious Body Method is a method to help you become conscious in your body. It is organized in five areas, all of which impact your physical body.
Daily Living
Be conscious of your life "style."
Individualize Nutrition
Be conscious of how you "nourish" yourself.
Energize Yourself
Be conscious of how you use and gain energy.
Think Well
Be conscious of the thought you choose.
Seek Support
Be conscious of the relationships you create.
Many of us go through our days like sleepwalkers. Every now and then, we wake up for a moment of clarity and cry out, "What is happening here?" We don't pay enough attention to what we are doing as we are doing it, and then we wonder how we end up in the predicaments we do.
Mindfulness is conscious living and alert presence of mind. Mindfulness helps you pay attention to what you are doing as you are doing it. Mindfulness is a key muscle of the soul that requires constant exercise in order to create the body your soul desires.
Just some food for thought. As I go through my journey seeking information and truths about nutrition and living a healthy life, I will share with you bites of what I am learning. This does not mean I support nor have a belief in any particular diet or plan. I believe what they shared is worthy of sharing with you so you can explore and invest in your own personal development and healthy lifestyle.
Have a wonderful blessed day!
